I was a "Tomboy" growing up in Martial Arts and was an ugly kid!!! Braces, glasses, hair as short as a boy,
wore baggy clothes to hide my muscular body from gymnastics. I did a 360 on everybody my Senior year in
HS and won Homecoming Queen! After that, I've continuously tried to look and feel like a woman.
Thanks to the help of my college roommates and The Rockets dance team for teaching me style,
how to put on make-up and fix my hair. I still have a hard time looking at pics of myself and reading messages that people think
I'm a hot chic!! It's deeply appreciated!!!

Catherine Boshuizen amateur fitness, bodybuilding athlete

Full-Time Instructor at Oregon State University in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Sciences, Figure Competitor, Fitness Model.

Since a very young age, she always loved fitness and sports. In high school she played year round volleyball for four years, was on the varsity softball team as a freshman and sophomore,

and pole vaulted in track and field my junior and senior years.

During the summer, she enjoyed pushing herself to the limit in water skiing. She knew early on that she wanted to work in the health field and have physical fitness be a big part of my life.
